Wolf Country in Palmer Alaska was closed down by state authorities this past 2011. LARC in California organized the most expensive, thorough and successful rescue and transport of 30 high % animals ever seen. All were altered and transported by air to Seattle where a vehicle awaited to take them the remainder of the way to the high California hills. Huge enclosures were built prior to house them all. Bob (Price is Right) Barker broke the piggy bank on this one. All in all an amazing story.
